For several years I have been using the Southwest Rapid Rewards credit card.
With the recent changes to Southwest Airlines bag policies, having a southwest card makes a lot of sense. In fact, even with the changes, you can still get a free checked bag on Southwest Airlines Flights.

With the New checked bag policy, It really pays to have a Rapid Rewards Credit card:
Passengers with Rapid Rewards credit cards will receive a credit for one checked bag. People who don’t qualify for those categories will get charged to check bags. The airline said that it also would roll out a new, basic fare on its lowest priced tickets when the change takes effect.

With per bag fees waived at the higher priced ticket levels, the $69 annual fee of the Southwest Credit card will be covered in the first few flights! and they give you renewal points every year, and discounts on companion passes as incentives for being a cardmember.
